Southern Beaches Anglican is a Christian church open to everyone. Below are some examples of who you might meet and what you could expect at our midweek community gathering and at our Sunday service.
At SBA we believe there are many ways to do Church and one of them is through what we term: Infectious relationships. As we live as family, go out as missionaries and live out our identity as servants of Jesus we believe lives should be fun, relationships should grow to be full of joy and we want life to build infectious relationships.
We make much of Jesus at SBA. We believe that the Gospel has the power to totally transform lives, communities and the world around us. As we step out in faith the life transforming power of the Gospel is what we put our hope and trust in.
Kids and young families are a big part of what we do at SBA. We want to support families in the discipling of their children. Many of us at SBA have young children and see the value of a supporting family within the church. Our old people are grandparents are grandparents to all children, our families look after each other and our young adults take on the role of healthy mentors. We want our children to be involved in the church so that they feel like they belong and that they would grow into strong adults serving Christ.
"But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. 15 You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus". 2 Timothy 3:14-15
